Funding for Leadership Programme

The Leadership for Growth Programme

Small and medium-sized business owners hold the key to revitalising our regional economy.

That’s why we’re launching a programme for SME owners, to enhance your leadership skills and help you develop a concrete plan to grow your company.

What is the Leadership for Growth Programme?

It’s a new programme run by Sheffield Business School to help SME owners grow their company and reach their full potential.

The programme is supported by the national Business Growth Service and the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership.

What will I get out of it?

The programme will run for 8 days spread over 8 months. You will learn the latest leadership and management techniques and how to apply them to your business.

With one-to-one coaching from business experts – and through networking and exchanging ideas with likeminded business leaders – you will develop a transformational growth plan for your company, ready to put into practice straight away.

During the programme you will be working on relevant strategies and techniques for your own organisation – this isn’t an abstract training course. We’ll help you increase productivity, solve any current problems facing your business, and form a strategy for growth with buy-in from your colleagues and employees.

How much does it cost?

The Leadership for Growth Programme is an investment in your company’s future. Because it’s supported by the Business Growth Service, the Growth Accelerator will contribute £2000 of the £5,000 cost of the programme (check the eligibility criteria).

Therefore, you only pay £3000 for the eight-month course, money you should easily recoup as a result of the growth plan you develop on the programme, and a fraction of the cost of hiring a management consultant.
